Is this the son of Michael? Was mentioned as being owed £300 as a creditor of George Robinson in 1793 in Horncastle. George Robinson squandered the family fortune trying to keep various Methodist chapels going in the area. Note John could obviously write as he signed the creditors deed rather than making an X as many did.
